ha ha once met tyler outside the old wembley...he was being interviewed(on tv) for a up and coming england match,there was a group of people around him,so i said loudly is that martin tyler..the people said yes,and his ears pricked up and with a smile on his face as he heard my comment......then came my words "i would ask you for your autograph BUT i dont think your famous enough"..........to which he replied "fuck off"......cant think why.............

Tyler was asked a few days after the final day why he used the word "stupendous"...he said it came to him in the moment...Cant for the life of me understand how anyone could think it was Quinn anyway.

Quinn for me - for what it matters...

In New Zealand we had Peter Dury and Craig Barlow - they were truly awesome - we got a dose of "AGUERO!!!!!!!!!! STAGGERING!!!!!! JUST STAGGERING!!!! WHERE DOES FOOTBALL GO FROM HERE??"
Then Barlow helping out with "I don't think I've ever seen emotions like I've seen here today" in a thick Scooottish accent.
