They should have been out of sight with the dominance and chances they had in the first half. Having said that, it was a very young team - six 16 year olds and a 15 year old in the starting XI - and Everton seemed older and bigger. Great character to come back from 4-2 as well and keep their unbeaten record.

can't really agree we should have been out of sight at half time as I just don't think we were that dominant. 2.1 was about right and everton were coming on strong by half time.That gave them real belief and it showed in the 2nd half as they really took the game to us and found weaknesses in our team with their pace and aggression and we didn't have any composure in our game at all.
For a while it looked liked the heads had dropped but fair play to them as they lifted themselves and really went for it. We actually had 2 good chances when the score was at 2.2 but as we started to put pressure on with about 7 minutes to go you could sense Everton panicking a bit and there you have it. 2 nil up 4.2 down and still got back to preserve the unbeaten record. Really good game to watch and I reckon a really good game for Carsley to learn from about the team and also individuals.
The worst out there had to be the referee who was just a joke.
Has the official site stopped showing highlights of the u18's. The last ones i can find are from the Derby County match which was a while ago. Alternativly it could just be me being a fuckwit and not being able to find them.
I would be surprised if the club even had one part time guy on the academy side of the website and social media.
It's incredibly intermittent, they'll probably just release highlights of the last 5 games rolled into one at some point.

It's really crap isn't it? Wish they'd just give me the job ffs. Ha. I'd look after it, edit the clips, do the social media and everything for the academy stuff happily.
