U21 European Championship

Well he's going to have to get the ball off the keeper, because the rest are shit at passing. Unless he manages to
pick up a ricochet.

But when the theory is that Aidy Boothroyd can just 'do' Pep at this level, it's not really.that surprising the players are struggling.

None are genius level but they are probably capable of playing this style to a much higher level than this.

The 2 CBs, for me, look fucking woeful and I'm being polite. No way can the play out from the back, at any fucking level ;-)

I think Abraham is shite too.

But still, the team is going through the motions of passing the ball around, but they don't know why they are doing it, as the coach doesn't know either.

Foden is trying to take up the 'between the lines' positions he's learned from DS etc but nobody knows why & what to do to make it work.

In the end, his best bet is just try to beat 5 players & score every time he gets the ball.
Angus Gunn, Terence Alexander Arnold, Joe Gomez, Ben Chilwell, Declan Rice, Deli Alli, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho. All these are eligible for the U-21’s and you’d have to think that they’d have won it easily with a few of them accompanying Foden. I know what the Germans would have done......

Maybe, but if the team was actually designed to help them do it, then they migh not be quite so bad.

And if the manager knew how it worked, he might have found cbs who can pass the ball.

Jonjoe Kenny is so bad he wouldn't even get in the womens team.Fuck me it is piss poor the way Foden is not getting into the game.fucking pass to our best player you dickheads

True, but if we assume that it's about 'developing' players, instead, then why isn't the team full of excellent ball players ?
