A mate of mine has got two tickets and will go 'if he doesn't have a sunday league game'. Dunno whether there's one arranged and he's waiting for it to be called off or what. Obviously if he can't make it I'll try to pass the tickets on elsewhere but I'm not running round like a blue arsed fly for it (he lives in wigan, I'm in city centre)

I'm 99% going myself but if something comes up then the EDS game might come second (whereas the Arsenal game is always likely to come first). Don't agree that 2-3k is great when there might be a couple more thousand or so wanting to attend but can't because lots of people have got tickets on the off chance. Club will have to look at this I expect but we'll see how many empty seats there are on Sunday - weather is also a killer it's fucking wet and freezing on sunday supposedly
 
Difficult for the club to know how to deal with this game.

If they charged it would only be a couple of quid and wouldn't change any no-shows, if it was turn up on the day free it could be chaos.

I think the weather will have a big say. If it's pissing down, particularly chilly or windy there'll be some spaces.

Charge a fiver and get it back in match credits (money off cup games or in the shop) if you turn up. That'll stop most of the time-wasters.

I'm looking forward to Sunday - a full day of footie, great. By the way forecast is currently dry but cold.
 
I'll be there. Does anyone know whether the whole academy complex will be open? I'd love to wander around and take it all in but I imagine certain places will be of course out of bounds. For those who have visited already, can you walk around all the pitches or are they all locked off?
