U21s at Mini Stadum 12noon Before Arsenal Game

It's pretty frightening to think we're going to get more fans for an under 21's game than 90% of league 1 and 2 teams. On the same day as a first team match.

Some young lads with a few clubs to choose from will see that and be thinking, 'I wan't to be part of that club'.

Brilliant isn't it? I've never seen anything like this before at any club. It's totally unique and I can't help but feel the young lads will be absolutely fucking buzzing. Imagine being 17/18/19 and used to playing in front of a couple of hundred at best to all of a sudden having 6,000 there most games. The intensity will go up a notch and it'll 100% definitely help develop the players. Some may suffer a bit initially cos of the added expectation but that is exactly what we need to find out. Others will get even better because of it.

Our youth team will end up supported as well as most professional teams if we keep this up. Imagine how close we'll all feel to the players too having watched them develop? Well excited.

Supporting the youth team will be an option for kids with or without there parents who can't afford or get tickets for 1st team games as well..

Something the club could do is that whenever during a season they schedule games so that the EDS\U21\U18 etc or Womens teams play at the Academy a few hours before the first team, that anyone who cannot afford to buy a ticket for the first team but who has gone and bought and used that ticket for the EDS\U21\U18 or Womens match can then get to see as an option (included with the price of that ticket i.e. at no extra cost) the first team game on a large screen TV within the campus Academy facility (if such a facility is\could be made available there).

i.e. watch the EDS\U21\U18 or women within the CA, and then if you are not going to the first team inside the main stadium you can if you wish watch the first team match on large screen from within the CA and within earshot of the Etihad.

5000 is more than 27 clubs average. If the club play this right and always have a game before/after a first team fixture then it will be great experience for the kids.

I ordered 8 tickets for me and kids mates but cant go now as working all day Sunday.

I have rung Supporter Services this morning to cancel all 8 so they can go back on sale, could I urge all Blues who are not now going to do the same as the lady I spoke to said they are receiving calls today for tickets and it is now sold out.

Dont let them go to waste.

According to the City website, the game will be shown on the big screens in City Sq.

A few lower league games being called off today and its not expected to get any warmer etc tomorrow.

I'm assuming the pitch has undersoil heating?
