UEFA must feel idiotic. They have been used by a club who are now themselves accused of hacking our database.

UEFA should be a neutral governing body. They’re finding out the hard way.

PB im sure i used to stand with you over the left hand tunnel at main rd.I was with the reddish blues,we were just teenagers then.

As a City fan I agree with every word you have written here, PB, largely because it explains in a logical manner and establishes a unifying theme for events over a period of time. Unfortunately I have no evidence at all for much of this and so I ask what your evidence is that Gill is/was briefing Panja, that UEFA's Executive is split, and that UEGA's dirty linen will come out in court, but perhaps more importantly what is this dirty linen and how bad will it make UEFA look/ what damage will it do. As much or as little as you feel you can disclose will do. I'd also appreciate some idea of the evidence of collusion between the American mafia in the PL.

I think what really grabs the attention from these posts is that you are very respected on here for your moderate, balanced and clearly thought out opinions, PB, but these posts are real dynamite.
Panja started his career at the MEN and I was told by another local journalist that it was known that he was close to Gill. I've posted that on here before and I'm assuming that the relationship is still intact and active therefore and the stories he's getting seem to support that assumption.

David Conn, whose sources are generally very reliable, revealed in one of his articles when this all started that UEFA's Executive didn't really want to pursue this case.

As to UEFA's dirty linen, there's all the stuff around their re-writing of the FFP rules when we'd been given assurances (three times I was told) after checking it explicitly with them, that we'd meet the requirements of the original transitional arrangment of being able to use the wages paid in the 2012 FY under contracts signed prior to June 2010 in mitigation against FFP losses. I'm sure the original assurances and documents on how that change came about would make interesting reading. And those covering how Platini's original intention to tackle debt somehow got lost in translation. And I'm sure there's more.

I think it is reasonable to assume that our well connected owner will have been collecting real evidence against our enemies.
I remember early days on the original FFP thread being educated by members here who I grew to respect for their vision and knowledge.
Perhaps our owners will not have to fire all the bullets at their disposal, perhaps they are comfortable just seeing their investment mature despite the cartel and the fake news?
I hope not and trust that the finger is firmly pointed in the right direction and certain people are financially ruined and politically damaged for assuming they can take on our very powerful owners without retribution.
I'm fully convinced that City have done their best to warn them what would happen after we 'took the pinch' if it continued. The Liverpool hacking coming back into the news was, I believe, the first shot across the bows.

Not me. started off with my dad in the Main Stand then we moved into theNorth Stand when that opened. Did the Platt Lane a few times but only recall going on the Kippax for an England U-23 game.

Wow, just wow. This would make a great investigative piece. I wonder if the Times is considering it. If it becomes clear that UEFA have allowed themselves to become a pawn in a proxy war designed to change the nature of the Prem and enhance US profits from English football, UEFA will be finished. Gill and perhaps Parry will have some explaining to do. But the biggest question of all will be asked of Fenway......When exactly did you adopt the policy of hacking your rivals data? After all, you appear to have done it twice in quick succession. I suppose it is asking too much for the FA to do anything, after all, it's just a crime !!
Note to Khaldoon: I understand the need for caution, but, when you can, hit these bastards hard, please.
When it is all over, City absolutely must lay bare the evidence: our defence as well as the underhand actions of the slimy toads of the G16. They can always hand it over to the right journo.
I am fucking mad at them, really mad. What utter shitty bastards.

Thanks, much appreciated. All I would ask now is if any hard documentary evidence exists proving collusion between the "American" PL teams, Barcelona, Bayern etc in a campaign against City to force changes in the PL and/or force UEFA to change the nature of the CL. I know proposals to make "istry and tradition" the most important factors in qualification and seeding, but do any documents prove conspiracy or unlawful intent?

You don’t want much do you?

That's the 64,000 dollar question isn't it?
