Juventus got relegated to Serie B, came back up straight away and are now in with a good chance of winning their ninth title in a row. A couple of years out of the Champions League wouldn't destroy our club, even if it wasn't basically an opening gambit by UEFA. Presumably the thinking is that a ridiculously harsh punishment simply gives the CAS a chance to reduce it and still potentially see us kicked out of Europe for a season.
Juve is a bad example as they have no real domestic competition, easy to get back on top,the prem is worlds away from italy

Blues, please do not copy-and-paste the full Bolt From the Blue article in to the thread, it’s not allowed on the forum, and why would we want to deprive the blue who wrote it from click traffic to their site (which could potentially help them get something out of their work to provide this valuable rebuke of the current media spin)?

Please be considerate of the author and just post the link to direct blues to view the article on their site.

For me I think, whatever the outcome, it is crucial that us fans (the customers) get to see all the evidence, especially our rebuttal of the Der Spiegel emails. It would be sickening if both sides cut a deal with UEFA saving face and City not being banned with a Non Disclosure Agreement. City need to restore confidence in our club and that includes full transparency.

I do agree mate - I’m just pointing out that the advice from lawyers who have sight of the evidence and expertise knowledge of risk/reward may be different.

inter Milan, lazio , Napoli, Atalanta, Roma just a few half decent sides. We don’t have that many decent ones here

The rags are no better than AC Milan were at that time (and on a similar trajectory). Inter were recently European champions just like Liverpool are. It was better then than it is now precisely because of the job Juventus have done dominating the league since. Us getting relegated (not that we would) wouldn't suddenly make the rags, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea get their shit together. If anything, it would open things up for Leicester or another Sheffield Utd.

yea Gold for me and only fools and horses lol

Do it Tolmie, just do it ;)

My journo mate set up the West Ham site Claret and Hugh three years ago.

He's now taking £8k a month and that's after a 60/40 split with his ad affiliate.

Just have to separate a few bits of my regular business first.

I'll be calling on Blues at some point ;)
