It seems quite clear that Soriano was taking aim only at the two FFP committees, not UEFA as a whole. Does anyone have a list of the members of the committees? The composition/membership of these committees/panels might explain the 'politics' comment, too.

The biggest surprise from me in Ferran's interview was that he actually referred to UEFA's evidence and it being mostly based on the hacked e-mails. Legal team must have vetted that so I'm sure it was ok.

Being devil’s advocate, how could the Etihad sponsorship be deemed fair market value with regard to an organisation lacking the resources to self-fund it? Maybe it would by comparison with P.S.G. but not by any sane, non-bent yardstick.

That's not how it's judged. The question is whether it's in line with similar deals. If it was about affordability then UEFA would have to audit all sponsorship deals with all clubs.
