Can't for the life of me see what the PL will do? Their FFP rules are much more relaxed than UEFA's - It sounds like FSG have been trying to stir things up (they're self-righteous American tw*ts you know).

The UEFA FFP issue is a can of worms, my head hurts trying to make sense of it all... How far are UEFA prepared to go?

1) We're talking about hacked/illegally obtained information, yet to be substantiated & who substantiates it?Nobody knows if there has been any tampering either? UEFA want to use this so-called information to cite us ... How the f*ck does that work?

2) Moving of the FFP 'goalposts' again to target City will surely weaken UEFA's position with any appeal that goes to CAS and in the longer term the legality of FFP.

3) If UEFA cite or want to review our sponsorship deals given this new so-called evidence, then they will 100% have to open an investigation into PSG otherwise the bent nature of UEFA will be 100% transparent even to a half-wit. OH hang on, CAS ruled UEFA would not be allowed to re-open the previously settled PSG case. Why would it be any different for us?

4) Although CAS say each case is treated individually they upheld appeals by Galatasary & PSG saying their cases could not be re-opened. How are we different?

This is a long & sustained attack on the Club from all quarters now from some media with agenda & UEFA (G14). Time to get tough. If UEFA cite us and CAS for some reason uphold it then we need to contest the legality of FFP, win or lose, I don't care.

The most rediculous part of all of this is PSG seem to be in the clear now & they have a man on the inside at UEFA!!!

In any case the media, UEFA & the alleged ring leaders (FSG) of the PL backlash are making clear & sustained attempts to damage the club's reputation & finances, by at the very least trytng to make us less attractive to sponsors.
Very well put - and reflects my thoughts entirely. You must be a lawyer, accountant or some sort of analyst to be able to put this in such easy to understand layman's terms. Wasn't the PSG case all done and dusted in a couple of months ? I don't who's on our legal team, but SM will no doubt hire the absolute very best from outside to represent us here. Can we take this beyond CAS to a higher court ? I'm thinking of FFP in terms of its legality.

My take on this is that it's like saying XXX have hired the best designers around to improve their cars. They now produce better cars than YYY. YYY writes to the courts and says XXX now produces better cars than us so can you stop them please.

OR

AAA has bought a supermarket that has seen better days, and now wants to expand and challenge Waitrose, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Lidl, but the they don't like being challenged and complain that AAA shouldn't be allowed to invest to grow his supermarket....

What would be interesting
Northcroft on Sunday Supplement intimated that this was the case and, in fact, the number of pages about to be released about Utd completely dwarfs the number of pages about City. I think he mentioned 1.8 million articles but I wasn’t really paying too much attention!

It will be mildly interesting to see how some on this forum change their mind about what is legal and illegal, in terms of leaks or hacks, if the spotlight begins to shine on Trafford......
what would be interesting the media response. I suggest it would be a he'll of a lot less vociferous than what we have experienced in the last few weeks

@Prestwich_Blue why were you bothering to argue with the paid troll Duncan Castles .

His agenda is clear. Waste of your time
I’ve realised that now. Like dealing with a spoiled kid. “I want that one!” “You can’t have that one” “But I want it!” “It’s not for sale” “But I want it!!! I hate you”.

Out of interest, if we had abided by the ever changing FFP laws and not spent the money they are accusing us of, what would the impact have been? Would we have not been able to buy Aguero or Silva for example?

What I am getting at is, how much would that have crippled this club and obviously played into the hands of our rivals who were earning more then?

We would never have got close. Exactly the result FFP is designed to achieve.

But you can also point out the irony that but for FFP, City wouldn't have had to splurge like they did in such a short time either.

Plus all the shit we getting now wouldn't of existed!

Funny how the ongoing Narative of ffp from its inception in the media did its job in brainwashing the history clubs fans! Now the media can't get enough of sticking the knife in all for clicks. It's been an ongoing properganda by the history clubs and there explayers to try to ruin us of the pitch!

Just keep reminding him he took money to work for the National Newspaper in Abu Dhabi.

Strangely, the cretin doesn't wish to respond to it much these days and his previous attempt was pathetic.

He also works with Ian McGarry on his heavily-publicised podcast, who was sacked by The Sun for making up stories (I know, I know...)

McGarry, like Rob Beasley and Castles are widely considered to be unemployable as staff.

He doesn't quite get hypocrisy, our dunc-e
