tolmie's hairdo, there is no way clubs can come after us if CAS say that the ban is null and void. They will just have to live with that decision. They will also have to try that bit harder to get to where we are and stop trying those dirty tricks that they are up to.

I never said they could. I said if the appeal drags on and we subsequently take part in next season's comp, should we then fail to overturn, we would have the club in fifth and the club in ninth (having missed out on Europa League) going after not only the loss of competition monies but also from sponsors.

Yes but surely that’s down to Uefa and their incompetence for not sorting sooner rather than us actually appealing.

Uefa actually moved very quickly in the end to punish us, hence our belief that a guilty decision was inevitable and they acted moments before the five-year deadline.

CAS and City find themselves victims of circumstance during the pandemic.

Both seemingly working on getting an outcome in June.

If not, only City would have the judgement call to make about participating.

On the flip side, if a club did come after us for lost revenue, they would also have to weigh up us then later overturning a CAS guilty verdict at a higher court, with all the costs involved in that.

What if we accept we’re ban for next season and win at cas
Can we then sue uefa to the high heavens?
