Another thing is that City's lawyers should be pushing UEFA for the identity of the person leaking this information.

It's absolutely intolerable that someone close enough to the enquiry should be feeding the press without UEFA batting an eyelid. Apart from anything else, confidentiality is an ethical cornerstone of independent investigations.

Right on cue, City have just released a statement saying pretty much exactly that!

Great response, don't fuck with the blueboys!

This is it we need to nail all these fuckers once and for all. UEFA, all the sniping journalists and their employers, the hacker and Der Spiegel. Where are all the other revelations they supposedly had on other clubs?

Every time we win a trophy or something good happens these fuckers start and I hope the club begin getting a few in court and taking them to the cleaners. Until they fear us as much off the pitch as they do on it this shit will continue. Time for the gloves to come off!

You can just imagine the s*** UEFA are getting from City now and their layers in private.

I like the final line:

'The accusation of financial irregularities are entirely false, and comprehensive proof of this fact has been provided to the CFCB IC.'

That very much ties in with the NYT line that UEFA are no longer looking at the inflation of sponsorship agreements.

Doe not mean that UEFA are going to back down, but does suggest that we have refuted one line of attack.
