They only care about teams entering UEFA competitions. If Bolton won the FA Cup this year they wouldn't have been allowed enter the Europa league.

There is nothing to stop a trillionaire buying Sunderland and making gigantic losses for 3 years and then qualifying for the CL in a further 3 years once they have stabilise the finances.

We have always been guilty as soon as this whole sham started. Once the whole cartel realised we were a bigger threat than they imagined they have been out to get stop us any way they can. They made us stumble when we " Took a pinch.' but we have since continued unabated. You can imagine the panic. We have seen lately that this has all reached a crescendo, with attacks from all and sundry. Many of us deep down knew this day would come.

Fair enough, I don't know the facts about Bolton, just that they were 200m in debt awhile back, you don't get to that state by making profits every year.

There is the other way to read this of course. UEFA challenge our documentation from previous FFP breach. We give them 100 pages of evidence knowing that it will take them over the 5 year deadline.

So UEFA have to jump the gun hoping they have a watertight case. City then jump in to CAS knowing they couldn't have gone through it all.
