This is where this G14 cartel nonsense ends. Let's take our ball in and get the Sheikh (who we simultaneously claim is not in control of the situation) to start a new competition without the G14. Hmm
Better than playing in a comp that's rigged for the few. They want City's cash but god forbid we ever become a world renowned brand! I support City and always will. Playing against Everton, Leeds, Birmingham City, West Ham will become just as big in time as playing Rags, Dippers and The Arse now!

Interesting that you responded to it.

I believe you’ve posted in the past saying you’d be surprised if we weren’t guilty or something along those lines.

He’s even implied that we’re guilty in the last few pages. Now he’s entitled to his opinion like the rest of us, but I can’t see why any City fan - after being assured by the club that they’ve done nothing wrong - would believe UEFA over the club while the process is still ongoing, and in the absence of any comprehensive evidence showing why we are guilty. Now it might just be that the club have lied like fuck to us fans about all this but why any of our fans would think that at this stage is beyond me.

Yeah, completely un-City fan like to be pessimistic...

Preparing yourself for the worst and actually wanting the worst are two completely different things.

This is just a nothing post. People have to be aware of the ramifications of what happens next if we are banned. Nobody wants it. But its also worth pointing out, if the ban stands then City have fucked up. There won't be any defending it.

And this is why we will win, it is not City that will have fucked up, it is the the owner who may have, his payment to his sponsor is the problem not how much City got,, and it is this that City owner believes he can prove

If City are guilty I’ll be angry and I’ll hold my hands up to anyone who questions it. I’m not presuming our guilt based on the review of an institution which has proven to be corrupt though.

Unfortunately there’s a few out there amongst our own support that want us to be guilty. I read a City Xtra blog the other week that said they’d be ‘staggered’ if we’d done thing wrong.

Seems to be the same types who think our media coverage is no more negative than Liverpool’s.

I’m not really bothered what other people think whether we win or lose tbh, that’ll be a secondary reaction for me.

I’m more interested personally in whether my trust has been well placed. I have no reason yet to doubt it is but ultimately all of this at the current moment in time only really boils down to that - trust. There isn’t enough evidence in the public domain to truly know either way, there never has been. That’s why Monday’s judgement is so important for me - it’s about my own relationship with the club and the ownership first and foremost, not what the media, rival clubs or opposition fans think.

I want and believe our irrefutable evidence to be...irrefutable. I’ll only be able to add that I know it is after Monday though.

Don't agree with that at all. CL qualification should be based on sporting issues, not a politically-motivated campaign to cripple a club. If we've broken rules then it's not unfair that we suffer some sort of sanction but we've already been punished for failing FFP.
Agree completely but it is a private organisation that presumably makes rules to suit its senior members. As such fairness can only be achieved from within so even the illegality of a barrier to entry in other sectors of business cuts no ice.
If the breadcrumbs received by its voting members support skewed rules what can we do?
Even if ee win we will always be at odds with those who fashion rules then skew them to suit their senior clubs.
Perhaps I am wrong but we are simply not wanted in this particular golf club.
