Haha. Mate, can I say that with each passing day I'm more convinced we're getting the full 2 years. I've got nothing to back this up except my own natural pessimism when it comes to City.

Come back to us mate, you have Big Dave Watson liking your posts!

Once you go full BDW...

I’m just hoping our evidence is as irrefutable as the club claims. If it is, then as you say there was no need to cut any deal with Ceferin. The club have been bullish about their innocence all along - even more bullish than UEFA with regards to their position - but I’m still nervy about the outcome. For all we know, we might be worrying over nothing and this is a slam dunk for City, hence the confidence emanating from the club. We’ll find out soon enough.
If it is the slam dunk, it will be the first time in over fifty years of following this club, that anything has been straightforward.

He’s even implied that we’re guilty in the last few pages. Now he’s entitled to his opinion like the rest of us, but I can’t see why any City fan - after being assured by the club that they’ve done nothing wrong - would believe UEFA over the club while the process is still ongoing, and in the absence of any comprehensive evidence showing why we are guilty. Now it might just be that the club have lied like fuck to us fans about all this but why any of our fans would think that at this stage is beyond me.
I believe the club have the right legal advice and the settlement agreement will be enough for us to prevail at CAS, not withstanding the fact I also think UEFA are time barred from this, and the fact they've given us a formal release.

I cant wait for the decision to be made public so this thread can finally be put to rest!

This is worse than the Kaka or any other transfer speculative thread!
It's much more important mate. It might be the difference between us buying Grealish or Havertz. Either way we'll still be City and still be one of the top teams in the league. My only worry about this is if we and the players/management have been lied to by our top brass. I don't know if I could support us in the same way if they have done. Mind you, I'm as certain as I can be that they haven't so I'm pretty positive about the whole thing. The waiting is the worst thing.

If City are guilty I’ll be angry and I’ll hold my hands up to anyone who questions it. I’m not presuming our guilt based on the review of an institution which has proven to be corrupt though.

Unfortunately there’s a few out there amongst our own support that want us to be guilty. I read a City Xtra blog the other week that said they’d be ‘staggered’ if we’d done thing wrong.

Seems to be the same types who think our media coverage is no more negative than Liverpool’s.

That was Joe Butterfield who wrote that. The bloke’s a fucking wanker. It was a disgraceful article
