Surely all they can access are the accounts of public record, which I'm confident City will have an audit trail for.

If this investigation is proved to be unwarranted der Spiegel will surely cease to exist as a credible investigative entity.

Fair point but there is a difference....Chelsea and Arsenals players were responsible for the lack of Champions League games as they failed to qualify, our players will have earned the right to play in it and would be denied by circumstances caused one way or another by others. Thier players also have still got European Football in the Europa League and whilst not ideal they are still playing in European competition.

What about potential new arrivals given the choice of playing for the Rags or Liverpool in the CL or playing for us in three domestic competitions only....Come on if you were an outstanding footballer what would you choose?

Private or personal interests may include, but are not limited to, personal benefits, financial gain or other motives to obtain favours for oneself, family, friends or others. “

Sandor is a Hungarian billionaire businessman, banker, investor, philanthropist, specializing in finance.

He is the chairman and chief executive officer of OTP Bank Group, one of the largest financial groups in the CEE Region and the biggest bank of Hungary.

He is also shareholder and member of board of the Hungary based multinational oil and gas company, MOL Group.

MOL are a Hungarian Oil and Gas Company.

Members of MOL Group include among others the Croatian and Slovakian formerly state-owned oil and gas companies

In 2006 MOL and Gazprom signed a Cooperation Agreement and in line with this the two companies established a 50-50% joint project company. The aim of the company to examine the feasibility of gas supply pipelines across the east of Europe.

Is this Conflict of interest number 2 ?

The facts seem to show that Sandor and his interests detract from his ability to perform his duties without any undue influence and therefore it seems he is in breach of Article 19 of UEFA Disciplinary regulations.

Official Nr 2 - David Gill – UEFA Treasurer.


Gill is a Board member and Director of Man United football club and has been for 21 years.


With Allegations being aimed at Manchester City regarding Financial Fair Play,

Gills roles within UEFA and Manchester United (City’s bitter rivals) will have an effect on his ability to perform his duties without any undue influence or bias and therefore is he in breach of Article 19?

Further to this Ukranian Andrii Pavelko and Executive committee member of UEFA was accused of corruption regarding football funding from UEFA in supplying artifical grass in the Ukraine from a company based in the UAE.

Yes you've had a great ten years. But I don't think it's over yet. Everyone knows UEFA are no saints themselves so the most you'll realistically get is a transfer ban.
And that won't hurt you really. Your squad is the best in the country so you can easily manage with a transfer ban. In the long run this will all blow over sooner rather than later and we can all start talking about football again.

There is a difference but I don't think being out of the CL for one season would cause our players to leave. Attracting new players is harder but I still think,unfortunately, that players put high wages before ambition and so do their agents.

No point in falling out amongst yourselves lads. Your owners will have this thoroughly under control. It's not as if they are naive chancers or something.
They are shrewd billionaire businessmen and will know international law like the back of their hands. Imagine billionaire business men not being allowed to spend their own money on their club. None of this ffp makes sense. UEFA are probably shitting themselves and are making a gesture to pacify the established clubs but I doubt very much they want to take on Abudhabi in a legal battle. It's not going to happen.
A slap on the wrist and that's it. All done.
