Such a crap and corrupt organisation. How on earth do they get away with calling it the 'Champions' League...…?

Tolmie, you always make me feel tingly inside.

Khaldoon’s interview should be conducted with a team of lawyers behind him, with him sat in a Bond villain-esque chair. Maybe some menacing intro music.
And a cat. Gotta have a cat. Or will UEFA be the pu*sy?

The CFCB is an Organ for the Administration of Justice and may impose disciplinary measures in the event of non-fulfilment of the requirements set out in the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations. Its final decisions may only be appealed before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. Importantly, the CFCB is competent to determine whether licensors (national associations) and licence applicants (clubs) have fulfilled the licensing criteria or the financial fair play requirements, and to decide on cases relating to club eligibility for the UEFA club competitions.

Reading the CFCB site it says the CAS will be the final decision so I don't think the club can take it any further

CAS is for an appeal. City can still sue the fuck out of UEFA through a civil court.

The way I see it is the twats were going to charge us regardless of what they did or didn't have the cartel and media demanded it,

They might not have any.
If the 5 year rule is in place, today was the last day they could do this. Maybe they are planning on finding their evidence later

Yeah, that could cause a teensy weensy problem for them down the line when courts start asking why people are finding a club guilty before doing any investigation. Such things can lead to prosecutions for corruption.

I disagree, as a Swiss-based entity UEFA are accountable under Swiss law so that would be the logical starting point for any action. Secondary to that UEFA are obliged to obey EU law as so many of their member nations are in the EU and so they could also be held accountable to the ECJ. While a UK court could pass a verdict in City's favour it wouldn't be the most direct route to take.

Stretford or Liverpool.. i doubt it.

I'm sure it was yesterday that it was reported that UEFA had no evidence
They've got a handwritten note from an anonymous source ...

"Can yous please investigate manc land city as it appears their sponsorship dosh isn't wot they've bin tell'n yous otherwise and dey keep stopp'n this year be'n us year."

Regarding this 5 year limitations part how would the following play out then?

they say there are questions still to ask but we refuse saying that we have not had any put to us and the 5 year period has ended.

To me it seems our owner has two options. Either take what's coming on the chin if we can't get it overturned and maybe even eventually look to sell up. Alternatively, he can decide he will do whatever it takes to get the club right to the very top of world football regardless of cost and what obstacles are put in our way.

I suspect it will be the latter option as I can't see any way he would choose to lose face to a ragtag mob of bureaucrats and bent club owners.

so do we expect an answer tomorrow day before cup final on this, for what its worth i would not mind a ban then we can take them all on in court and sort it out once and for all.

UEFA aren't even good at covering their tracks, the timeline of the announcement correlates with the NYT article, so the establishment of a leak from the process is now firmly rubber stamped.

We are going to have to be patient as a supporter base, the process will go well beyond CAS and eventually to personal lawsuits. Our good name be cleared completely.

The club could not have provided any clearer evidence of no wrongdoing. We know the fix is in, both chambers.

What I can say, this is about as personal as it gets and City will now be in good hands for the next 100 YEARS.

Wait to hear from Khaldoon next week, that's what I'll say.

When this is over, the pain will have been well worth it.

Good to hear Tolmie. Will we still be able to compete in CL whilst all this is going on

I honestly think in the long run they will wish that they’d just left us alone from the get go all this is just going to make the sheikh even more determined imo
This is what I think too. Providing Sheikh Mansour remains on side, this is just going to make City stronger.

City's revenues will be going through the roof now, but we could do win infrastructure investment
