The difference between us and PSG is we have openly fought against UEFA while I suspect money has exchanged hands in the case of PSG which is why they may do as they please. Making an example of us to deter others from daring to peer behind the curtain of their corrupt and shady organisation. Wouldn't blame our owners looking to form a breakaway competition with other clubs. Larger financial reward will soon win over clubs, sponsors and players.

Mad to think that I wasn’t expecting this. I actually can’t believe they’ve banned us. Their intention is to destroy us a football club.

Fuck going to the Madrid game.
I honestly thought UEFA were trying to find a way out of this without losing too much face. I guess they painted themselves into a corner that had no escape, either that or someone has lost the plot entirely over there.

We will of course appeal and this will sure get interesting.

I dunno what this will mean for the club long term.

Our fans already hate UEFA for good reasons and Pep wants players to get support at CL games but now?

The risk also is that will maybe think twice even after any ban if our fans never come around to CL which this may surely lead to.

Can we be sure that Mansour will be supportive of the club going to war with uefa, or might he view this as mistakes having been made by people at the club.
Mansour sees the club development as a project,he's not a fan in the way the rest of us are,so there is a possibility that his response to all this may not be what we would like it to be.

Have we got irrefutable evidence that we haven't blagged these accounts then? As surely we wouldn't be releasing a statement like that and rusk getting more egg on our face.

I like how they've outlined the fact that we was basically already been seen as guilty before the investigation begun and that no other Third party has investigated us, its Al lcome from Uefa.

Where's PSG's ban?

The club have insisted all along that the allegations are utter bollocks and given how strongly they’ve protested their innocence, I’m inclined to believe them. However, playing devil’s advocate, if it turns out City were bullshitting all along then I’ll be seriously pissed off because they’ll have not only deceived UEFA, but also deceived us fans too.

SNIFF SNIFF

We went decades without playing in the CL: I'm sure we can manage 2 years even if an appeal isn't successful.
This is just the first attack. We will be unable to attract some target players and be labelled as cheats affecting our global appeal. Once the 2 years is up then they'll cook something else up to hit us with.

Fuck that. I'd rather risk setting up our own global league and just make the players the best paid sportsmen in the world.
