I'm still unsure if I will be able to monetize it to the extent I need, as not to be so reliant on other areas of income.

I would read it, there are some very good people on here who contribute some very informed view points and in the wider world as well. You could expand it to football in general, a football website with no agenda pandering to rag click bait.

Well in the last 24 hours we have gone from the St. Valentines day ambush to the nightmare on UEFA street. Apart from the 2 year ban we are allegedly being deducted points in the PL, Pep is walking out, we may be barred from FA competitions, players will start to leave, it will be difficult to recruit new players, top personnel are being investigated, etc etc. You couldn't make it up could you. Unbelievable!
If these allegations are untrue ( which I sincerely hope they are ) then the club should come out shooting all barrels with immediate effect. No more Mr nice guy with the veiled threats let's hit them hard and fast. Our relationship with UEFA will never be the same again so why worry about the consequences.
The integrity of the club is at stake and the longer this goes on the more we get branded 'cheats' by all and sundry ( apart from Martin Samuel of course ).
For those of you that think this will blow over like Storm Dennis think again. We need to fight back before the damage becomes irreparable.
C'mon City let's get this done. The war starts now.

Doubt it. Look at Juve, Rangers and many others who have been demoted due to financial misdemeanour. They're back stronger than ever and Juve have even got Ronaldo playing for them!
City get the ban quoshed and it will all be forgotten within a couple of years especially if we buy one of the greats of the time.

Juve is different in that they don't have the domestic competition we have and 2 very powerful clubs with officials in every governing body

Heard something interesting on the radio earlier about lawyers - seems City have been quietly going to the best legal minds in Europe to get their views on the case and any likely appeal. UEFA are approaching same lawyers and being told they can't help as they have already been consulted by City..... could be we are quite cleverly and legitimately blind siding UEFA's access to decent legals.....

For me this is a defining moment. From now on my football news will come from Blue Moon, City podcasts and sites such as the one you suggest. No BBC, SSN or Guardian. 12 hours in and it’s already liberating. Give MOTD a miss too. Sure I’m not alone so I reckon there’s a market.

If I was an intelligent and educated MU, Liverpool, or Arsenal fan (obvious joke there), I'd look at this decision and think it looks shitty, amateurish and vindictive. I would be disappointed that it looks shaky, and worried by City's absolute belief that they've done nothing wrong.

Maybe now the club will start to bite back at all the ****s lying or twisting the truth about us, I really dont get why we never put our foot down about the blatant lies they would tell which are now seen as truth by your average person. There is for sure a degree of ignorance or racism at play too, as our owner is apparently the owner of every middle east company and also at fault for all human rights issues too due to being a family member of a ruler. Even the fucking BBC reporting Etihad is owned by our owner which is just blatantly false, why dont we ever correct them?

I believe the fact we never challenged the media has in part allowed UEFA to act they way they have, as we are already seen as the boogeyman after years of negative press, if we had defended ourselves from the start it wouldnt be so easy for them to make up charges against us after moving the goalposts, the majority are happy to see us punished as they think it means the rules are working, without realising the rules just keep the top few in place and nobody else will ever compete again. Very short sighted but making an example of us keeps them happy without seeing they themselves have no chance to reach the top.

Unfortunately that chance is gone and our reputation has been damaged, possibly for a long time. I know not everyone cares but investors and sponsors will, which helps keep the club competitive. Also players will bear in mind club reputation when joining, if they think it will affect them negatively from a PR point of view they will be more cautious of joining, especially in this social media age.

I hope after we "took the pinch" last time that we come out all guns blazing this time, I dont want to see us taking anymore shit from UEFA or the Media ****s.

To be fair to us the whole reputation of Football has been tainted with various scandals that have been going over past decade whether it has been in England or throughtout UEFA and the rest of Europe.

Hope so. We'll have a large legal team - the best QC level barristers being supported by by the best solicitors specialising in international finance.
