The sheikh needs to start getting people to pull some strings. FFS they spend about £10bn a year on arms! Can’t Putin or Trump help out a bit :-)
As long as she floats our boat, who cares.?
The time limit on these would have passed, so unless there was something within the 2016 onwards accounts, what could UEFA do??
Don’t get me wrong it’s principled and I get it and we all know now taking the pinch when we did was a mistake (hindsight is wonderful). That was the time to do it, we had less to lose and more to gain.
They probably don’t want the same again and feel we should have took them on when we had the chance last time. I just think if it was on offer (and it’s only hearsay) it would probably have been the smart move on this occasion.
50/50 i would say,in other words no-one knows as EUFA have documents they said they would make public only if we didn't go to CAS now,we don't know what that is or whst we have on them, thats my reading anyway and i've read every post @pudge
I don't know to be honest, but the club said at the time they would not comment on or engage on emails that may have been illegally obtained. Are we sure that they never asked for or got the whole lot of emails not heard that before and not sure how anyone outside of the selct few would know
I wish my fucker would.Dick Pound. What a name.
I wish my fucker would.
Yes i think there a lot of racism going on here, the media has been full of it,especially since may when they really showed themselves,i expect the club realise that as well, all UEFA should be concerned about is money is money whoever is spending it,if they want their made up rules then apply them fairly,we know it was never about fairplay, this was absolutely about shutting us out.PSG had a man on the inside helping them,i don't think they were ever the true target, this is all about the biggest scalp ,in the biggest country with the history clubs wanting us to disappear, especially with pep here,i pray we are in the right here i really doThat is the farce in all this though, who the hell are uefa, the organisation that enforces ffp to cater to the whim of the elite, being able to determine what sponsorship deal is to be considered fair value
It is prejudice and and biased at the very least. It wouldnt happen on the high street and it very well wouldnt even get the through the door in corporate business
Its a scam, it can be even uefa trying to blackmail clubs outside of the elite via means of fines
It is masqarading as 'fair play'....it is anything but fair play
And to those stupid united and scouse fans screaming ffp this and that...the notion of calling a millionaire that invested in a club back in the days before ffp was introduced didnt even register
It only became a thing when middle eastern money made its move into football
If you were charged with something you were innocent of, and had the financial resources to employ the best lawyers money can buy, would you accept a lesser charge in a deal or fight to clear your name?
IF it gets overturned.
For me, the likely scenario is a 1 year CL ban, and a reduced fine. If the ban was completely overturned, it'd be utterly embarrasing for UEFA and a catastrophic hit to its intitutional integrity.
Brilliant post.UEFA and integrity in the same sentence.... they have none. Absolutely none. It’s an organisation that’s supposed to oversee European wide football but it’s actually the play thing of 14 clubs who instruct it to do whatever is in their small minded and greedy self interests.
That say’s we’re 100% innocent and I don’t think we are.
City’s arguments seem to be on due process and on the evidence of which UEFA are using to prove City’s guilt.
I agree. I think we've cooked the books to a degree.That say’s we’re 100% innocent and I don’t think we are.

Hello Sid.
My understanding from a podcast I've just listened to is as follows:
It seems that the ruling on the details of the judgement and our defence is down to the CAS, and CAS alone and there is no further appeal beyond CAS ( fits in with an earlier posting by @Tricky_Trev ).
However as I understood it if City are unhappy with result of the CAS appeal ruling they could ( under the 'public policy' grounds) appeal to the Swiss Federal Court that FFP is illegal in which case the UEFA ruling against City would become null and void.
This seems to fit in with City's pronouncements that we are going to fight this all way, because if the appeal process ended with CAS then City would not be able to pursue matters further.
One other thing - the lawyer on the podcast reckoned it could be about 15 months before the result of the CAS appeal was known.
As I say I'm not a lawyer, this is my understanding.
Hopefully all will become clear in the coming days.
UEFA corrupt racist organization.
