I don't think Conn has done anything more than lift Colin's find and then present it as his own work, with zero commitment to acting upon the discrepancies of the Open Skies document and this hacked email.

We have never denied the emails, only that they were taken out of context.

I think what is more worrying is that ADUG are mentioned by name, no ambiguity, unless it has been doctored.

Which email concerns HH?

Which still leaves us posing the question what City have or have not yet presented which is irrefutable?

It can only be the paper trail showing the money going from ADEC to Etihad?

Can ADEC give it to ADUG directly?

The whole thing about context is really important.

The email in question may merely have been referring to where the funds would be paid to City from; it does not necessarily indicate who the ultimate source of the funds was.

ADUG could have received money to pass on to City from ADEC, Mansour or (less likely, I know) Etihad. There's plenty of reasons why a parent company might want to hold onto cash and only let a subsidiary have it when they actually need it.

Nothing in that email proves that the cash paid on behalf of Etihad to City was not ultimately provided by a source related to Etihad but not related to City.

I've said this before; UEFA (the organisation) are piggy in the middle. The old G-14 clubs have systematically targeted us in all sorts of ways. There's things I can't say publicly or privately but it's quite astonishing what has been going on.

Where you sitting at Wembley? I want to find you and annoy the fuck out of you until you tell me.......

I can tell you that UEFA don't have the emails. Their sole evidence, the thing they've based their case on, is the Der Spiegel stories. That is it. They can't prove that these emails ever existed or are genuine.

No wonder we wre so confident. CAS will laugh them out of court.

Can I ask how you know this Colin ? I find it utterly unbelievable and, consequently, much as I want to, I don't believe it.

Only someone privy to the details of the case would know this detail for certain and, given the club's
comments about leaks, I can't understand why that person would tell you so that you can post it on Bluemoon.

This latest news from PB is hard to take in... I'm literally sat here open mouthed reading this... WTF!!! We all suspected that UEFA were totally incompetent and corrupt to the core... but this takes stupidity to new levels !!!

Of course it will. Ww can deal with UEFA but we have to take the fight to the real enemy and I imagine that will be fought out in the public gaze. Their first league title in 30 years and they'll be choking on it.

Ohhh PB.... you say the nicest things. Got tingles down my back thinking about this.

Yes I followed the match day thread on Wednesday, which is a rarity. And I see what you mean.
I didn’t go into the match day thread, the negativity towards the manager and the team in the pre match thread, particularly after the team was announced was disgusting, so I logged out

Oh Colin I feel quite moist !!!

This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Perhaps UEFA can't use the emails for legal reasons and that is why they were forced to open an investigation purely on newspaper allegations?

I know City remain very confident.

@Prestwich_Blue are we likely to bring evidence of this before CAS?

I'm told there were 5 charges laid against us. I'm not our legal representative but everything suggests 3 or 4 of those will fall quite easily. We've still got the charge of failure to co-operate but we felt that with UEFA acting on the thinnest of evidence, we had no need to. Why should we willingly co-operate in something designed to hurt us? I'm sure we had good legal grounds not to.
To be fair though PB you were extremely confident last time, when we still ended up with a huge fine and squad limitations - what makes you confident this time will be different? And btw I am not having a pop, your knowledge on these matters is top notch. You can tell I am not having a pop, I haven’t used rude words

Are you absolutely, totally and utterly sure of this PB??????

Does anyone think this is holding us back right now ? I was mainly thinking about sponsorship, re shirt CFG expansion, or Etihad campus. I do not yet have a view as to if it is or not just wanted other peoples thoughts

I'm not sure UEFA's inability to prove we did nothing wrong is the end game. That jyst says, we did wrong, they tried their best, had reasonable snippets of evidence, but ultimately it wasnt enough. I would think tge end game would be to actually prove we did nothing wrong.
