Pep probably seems a bit downbeat cos he is fed up answering the same ol type of questions when he more than likely has a hundred and one other things he would rather be doing
It’s at the end of the conference and is the third time (off the top of my head) that he’s had to answer it in the last week alone.

Next time he pipes up you might want to point him in the direction of the AC's statement when announcing the ban which refers solely to overstating sponsorship revenue. There were no other types of alleged breaches referred to.
Or you could point him at platini’s original concept of ffp in which he wanted to tackle the debt problem in European football and actually named the rags as cheats because they were allowed to take part in the CL while carrying huge debts.

Whatever happened to Platini? He always came across as a decent chap.

Even if we win, the damage is already done - we'll still be called liars, cheats and the reputation will be much of the same. People will just be coming out saying that we won purely because we could buy expensive lawyers, we bribed CAS, we got out on a technicality etc. No one is going to be queuing up cap in hand to say sorry to City for dragging the clubs name in the mud.

Yes but who cares? They'd say that if we win or if we lose and I for one could not care less.

Who gives a flying fuck if the media and rival clubs think we’re still guilty, not like they’ve ever treated us with respect anyway.

In fact, if we are cleared I’ll wind the bitter bastards up all the more and say it’s great having all this money and getting away with murder, we can’t be stopped.

Of course the reality is we’ve been cleared of these farcical charges, but arguing with them just gives them what they want anyway.

He became symptomatic of uefa.
Originally a fairly good idea, then overreached himself by having an idea, was put firmly in his place by the cartel who told him what he could and couldn’t do, and ends up facing corruption charges.
Kind of poetic really.

Sorry if this sounds mad, but; because the date City were originally scheduled to find out the result was the 10th (?)....
And they are allowed to find out the judgement 48 hours before...(I believe?)

Is it feasible they might actually know tomorrow ?

Fuck me, it's absolute lunacy on here. Pep's cocky and giving it the large one - CAS to completely exonerate us. Pep's a bit downbeat and narky - CAS are gonna throw the book at us.

This thread is madder than a box of frogs.

This thread is one of the more reasonable! Head over to the Isco thread for the real fun.

Still only 6 sleeps and 300 posts to go!

Funnily enough, I’ve just been thinking something similar. The date of it being publically announced has been pushed back but does that mean both parties will be informed later than originally planned?
