Arbitration decisions are rarely black and white - if they were, they wouldn't need to go to arbitration ... so regardless of the "facts" it could go either way. Or be a fudged compromise.

If we lose, it doesn't make our owners or board "liars", "traitors" or "cheats", so some perspective will be required amongst us fans, regardless of how difficult it will be to stomach and stay calm ?

Depends on what CAS say. There is a world of difference between: "On balance, Uefa evidence is more cogent than City's" and "City claim their accounts show that Etihad paid the sponsorship, but they had no audit trail or scrap of evidence to prove this".

He didn’t give him any juicy info but he told him he loves it at city, his family are totally settled and love their lives here, and he’s not planning on going anywhere

Not sure where you're coming from mate.
If it turns out to be 'something a lot closer and could have gone either way' then imo that would amount to City having misled the manager, players and fans and taken an unnecessary risk.

Fair point as the club have been bullish as fuck all along. But a 50-50 ish case which may have resulted in a win under different judges wouldn’t be as bad as the club being blatantly bang to rights and winging it all this time.
 
BT didnt go anywhere near it tonight, not taking any chances on writs coming there way .
 
Soriano said in his interview after the ban was announced ‘trust me this will be overturned’ and he said that he had said the same to the players...If this does not get overturned then he has been very naive and misjudged this spectacularly.

I mean, if the ban is upheld I would not be surprised if it's cut in half. Two years is just so harsh and unprecedented.

I didn’t see the post-match interview so can’t comment but some were saying something similar yesterday with his pre-match presser. However, when I watched it I couldn’t glean anything from it either way
