This is exactly my worry. I can’t shake the feeling the club have put this out for damage control re Monday’s verdict.
I think this is Kevin PR damage control. Makes him look better to City faithful now he knows that we are “exonerated” he wouldn’t have left even if we weren’t having previously been hinting he would be off for a 2 year ban.

I've been keeping a sort of amused eye on the poll above for weeks now. Between the proportion voting that they expected a one-year ban, and those voting that they expected total exoneration, the gap held very steady for weeks. Just recently, though, the gap has opened up between the two, and those saying that they expect a total overturn of the UEFA decision have become quite bullish.
Not sure what this means. If anything.
It means 47% on here have still not got with the programme. Anyone who still has not changed their vote to "got away with it the cheating bastards" by 9.30am Monday will be shot or made to post "Rob Harris is a great journalist and lover of City" 400 times.

Got away with what? We just had the fortune to have the owners we have. If we have done nothing wrong we haven't got away with it, merely not proven to have broken any laws

I'm 100% they haven't known for weeks FWIW. Maybe from Weds at the earliest, Friday by close of business most probably. Absolutely no reason to let sides know weeks in advance. Simply makes a leak likely.

I think PB says they were informed at the time they agreed to move the public announcement. He's right most of the time and he's also 100% we've won so I'm sticking with him!

Still think we're getting the full punishment. Think the leaks of decision are misinterpreting the optimism in the camp. Pep sums it up for me, he says if what the club has told him is correct, that he trusts them. However if we break that trust he's sure to call his time sooner than he would of. Garcia hasn't signed a new contract. He too is waiting on this. KDB again is sharing this optimism but no contract renewal until he knows.

What makes you so this?
A negative comment in a mainly optimistic last few pages.
We will get exonerated see you on Monday morning.

Pep said only this week, he has seen the evidence and trusts the Club completely. Everyone entitled to their opinion but would you say you are usually a glass half full or half empty person? Having supported the Blues for so long I'm definitely half full so I'll stick with my original assessment, exonerated.

It’s that special kind of City pessimistic optimism, just like the glass is three quarters empty and a quarter full.

We’re special.

I detected a change in the wind & one or two things starting to creep out about 2 weeks ago. But it's entirely possible that was people saying internally "we're now confident that the ban will be overturned" rather than official notification from CAS.

the evidence won’t be published but the lines of argument will and what CAS did or didn’t accept. Either way commentators will be disappointed by the judgment. It will need decoding.
I enjoy Decoding judgments it takes me back to my law degree...

They're not wildly keen on the Teutonic Chuckle Brothers either....
