“By the way, I remember something we have been counting for several days in @tjcope . On Monday morning (around 10:30 am) the TAS publishes its decision on the dispute between UEFA and City. At UEFA they think they will agree, which would confirm the 2-year penalty for City.”

Also worth pointing out that COPE and SER (where this guy works) are two of the most reputable and accurate media outlets in Spanish Football.

UEFA Confident according to this guy

My usually reliable translation software says

By the way, I remember something we've been telling each other for several days now at @tjcope. On Monday morning (around 10.30am), CAS announced its decision on the dispute between UEFA and City. UEFA think that they will be right, which would ratify the 2 years sanction for City.

Bit of background to the guy in that tweet, so basically similar to our bunch of cock suckers.

Periodista deportivo, Fútbol Internacional. Pensé en hacer podcast. Ahora en COPE. Aprendí mucho en SER, Canal+ y Localia. De mi Cuenca querida. Y de Grêmio.

Sports journalist, International Soccer. I thought about podcasting. Now at COPE. I learned a lot in SER, Canal + and Localia. From my dear Basin. And from Grêmio.

There is of course the possibility that CAS rule against us and we then pursue uefa through the Swiss courts. This could take years during which time the CL ban would probably be suspended pending outcome - hence confidence that we will be playing CL next year and players staying. A shitty outcome really, but that's why I voted 'other'
The ban wouldn’t be suspended.

I have no more idea of the outcome than anybody else, and personally I think Ian Cheeseman is guessing. However I am absolutely sure the two parties know the outcome. I have a lot of experience of both the UK Tribunal system and the ECJ, and in big civil cases the litigants receive an embargoed decision, usually 4 or 5 working days before it is published. It is standard practice and makes sound commercial sense for all parties. There is no chance that all our top executives will be sitting down at 09.25 on Monday hoping for the best. We as a club know the outcome, whatever it is. I personally don’t, so I will have my fingers crossed.
