Saturday tea time I was driving home and listening to Durham on Talkshite.
He was complementing the fans for getting in early (unheard of for English & Scouse fans at any game).
Little did we and he know it was because Madrid were organised and escorted in by their Club.
Dippers end was full of jibbers, fakes and fence climbers which became apparent when the genuine ticket holders started to arrive.
I hope UEFA throw the book at them.
And they are banging on because a few were Pepper sprayed to disperse a dangerous overcrowding, unbelievable that lot.

Remind me, how does that one go?It's like dealing with the Kremlin. The British press won't analyse it. For sure decent fans were caught up in it but the root cause is clear. The French police responded disproportionately but I didn't moan when my lad was hit with a baton in Lisbon for singing. You are abroad.

I do wonder what would have happened if our defenders hadn’t lost comcentration after 89 minutes in the semi. Part of me is grateful we didn’t make it to Paris.

I suspect the number of fake tickets and jibbers would have been a fraction of what we saw on Saturday, and whilst some people would have had an unpleasant experience with the French police, it would have been typical of our experience in Madrid, Lyon and Milan.I do wonder what would have happened if our defenders hadn’t lost comcentration after 89 minutes in the semi. Some of the stories coming out are beyond belief, 1 in particular an old lady in a wheelchair, and the French police padlocked her wheelchair to a fence, lol
