Back to Istanbul please. I'll just get the metro this time.
And superglue my phone to my hand...Back to Istanbul please. I'll just get the metro this time.
Realistically would expect Madrid or Barcelona to be strong favourites.
A stadium close to Manchester meets the 70,000 criteria but they may be forced to supply umbrellas with the tickets as they won't have fixed the roof by then.No chance the Emptyhad will get it.
I'm sure UEFA - boooooooo- prefer stadiums to be 70,000 plus capacity for finals.
That’s correct. Other than the two pandemic years, the only final venue in recent times with a capacity below 70,000 was the Metropolitano in Madrid (65,000).No chance the Emptyhad will get it.

It's in Budapest in 2026 which is also 65k max - probably less with the additional media facilities required for a final. That’s correct. Other than the two pandemic years, the only final venue in recent times with a capacity below 70,000 was the Metropolitano in Madrid (65,000).
Even following the north stand expansion, the Etihad won’t be big enough.
Would like to visit Baku at some point but the idea of 60k people trying to get there at the same time is just dumb.
