There's a few other 'orbital/space vid's out there that are worth a gander, I'll have a look later. As a natural phenomena explanation I've been thinking along the lines of plasma or localised ionised gases, in a sort of Aurora manner, especially as they're drawn to electrical storms but I'm not sufficiently expert, just wouldn't rule it out.
As I said might have missed the end the Leonids now but still may be worth a look in the next few days if you're away from skyglow, unfortunately I've got the city centre and loads of brick and concrete in the way :(

enjoyed the St Helens one, music was nice too :)
crop circle's a fake IMO, remember that prog years back and was in the vid making business at the time, I remember saying I could have done it with the tech I had at my disposal and if I was working at one of the top studios in London could have done it better.
3rd one looks like a model to me.
