Joseph Ley, who punched and kicked a black male in Piccadilly Garden has been remanded in custody.

He grabbed him and said "Do you have a problem with us English, bro?" He then punched and kicked him in the face when he was the ground before stamping on his head.

You'll all be unsurprised to hear that he has multiple previous convictions for violence.

A man who was part of the anti-facist protest in Plymouth has also been locked up.

Lucas Ormond Skeaping, 29, of Tavistock, Devon, admitted on Wednesday to a charge of violent disorder over Monday’s incident. He was jailed for 18 months.
