Great swerve.Expected. They were the self created gods of their own religion. They all had their books, chants etc etc. Mein Kampf or Marx were their bibles. kinda like Trumps Maga.

You're missing the most obvious ones. Are you more into the goats or Highland cattle?
it may or may not be true that you really think they're alike.bit like you suggesting it may not be true, by posting online then?
Because they’re not terraced streets. It’s mostly semis with driveways, some close to a quiet railway line. Loads of places for rioters to run, and difficult to seal off.I don't quite understand why the Police can't draft in sufficient numbers to surround those rioters in terraced streets last night. Hem them in peper spray and taser them then arrest and charge them all. Jail time for all involved.
And that right there is the real world danger of ai, ai at its core is machine learning albeit at a much faster rate than us and if the ai is learning racist bile then that what it is going to produce because as much as they try and dress it up ai is the same as any other computer system in that if you put shit into it thats what you will get out, everybody laughed when microsofts ai bot became a rampant racist after 24 hrs of being set free but tbf its no different to whats happening now. Many of the accounts won't be real people. That's the scary thing.
What whilst being filmed and condemned for brutality.I don't quite understand why the Police can't draft in sufficient numbers to surround those rioters in terraced streets last night. Hem them in peper spray and taser them then arrest and charge them all. Jail time for all involved.
Chelsea and Juventus fans, plus the local parisians probably...All fanatical Christian rioters yesterday, were they?
Great post. Of course, the wanton murder of three little girls by a 17-year-old not-right is utterly horrific and we tend to dwell in the moment when things like that happen. I highly recommend a book called 'Factfulness' by Hans Rosling, which explains why we jump to the wrong conclusions about life, and in fact they're much better than many think. The Smiths recorded Rusholme Ruffians in 85 so basically 40 years ago. Manchester is a particularly interesting example because there are parts of the city you wouldn't have dreamed of walking alone 25 years ago - Ancoats, parts of Salford - that have now been gentrified beyond belief. Funny on a football forum as well when half the nostalgia of pre-92 is that you could get the shit kicked out of you at any game. Like you say, people's memories play ticks on them.
People's timelines on what or when a place "went to shit" is always so confused. Statistically, people are less likely to experience interpersonal violence than at any other point in history, and there have been marked declines since the mid-20th century all over the world. There's been a bit of a small movement upwards over the last year or two in the UK, but generally speaking we are living in one of the safest countries at the safest time in human history.
They already drafted in PSU (riot officers) from 3 forces-that should tell you how stretched they were.I don't quite understand why the Police can't draft in sufficient numbers to surround those rioters in terraced streets last night. Hem them in peper spray and taser them then arrest and charge them all. Jail time for all involved.
