UK far right trouble

I don't quite understand why the Police can't draft in sufficient numbers to surround those rioters in terraced streets last night. Hem them in peper spray and taser them then arrest and charge them all. Jail time for all involved.
Numbers, shift patterns, other demand.

Hemming rioters in to streets with people in their homes would create more and harm to them and their properties.

Tasering a person involves having to deal with that one individual, being attached to them by the wires and barbs which need removing, and then taking that one person away, in a riot situation with multiple people trying to cause harm to that isolated officer. Wholly impractical and impossible.

Not physically possible to arrest all of them. They can be identified after the event in an investigation if one is held.

Even if the murdering shitebag is a Muslim, that does not justify terrifying innocent people or attacking a mosque.

(At this moment, we have no idea what he is, except he was born in Cardiff.)

As I said before, I was in Gorton in the days of Hindley and Brady, but I don't recall anyone rioting or trying to destroy St Francis's church.*

* I think Hindley went there, but I forget. It's a long time ago. But St. James's church was safe too.

Haven't the police already said he wasn't a muslim?

They’ve said there’s no indication that he had any connection to Islam. His family clearly weren’t Muslims or we’d all know about it. It leaves the possibility that he was somehow radicalised but that’s fairly unlikely, however they can’t categorically rule it out.

The Gorton and Openshaw reporter didn't distribute fake accusations back then. Now we have gorgeous Twitter and other media spouting shyte.

Cheers - really hard to keep track unless you're glued to BBC News 24/7, which I'm not..!
