I wonder if the hatred of UKIP by the resident loony lefties on here has anything to do with the fact that no far left party could ever be as popular as UKIP is becoming, it's that old envy thing

Or it could just be that some people don't like racists.

That's probably more likely than envy.

I can't see that they have any racist policies, some of there members may be racists, but some far left party leaders have been rapists, but that does not mean that all left wingers are rapists does it

Rape isn't really comparable to racism in any way, shape or form so I've absolutely no answer to that.

It's tit for tat again isn't it? You're willing to excuse anything so long as it's consistent with your own ideology.

Explain how a socialist raping a woman makes it OK for members of the UKIP to be racist.

Was it OK for the KKK to lynch black people because some black people aren't nice?

Is everything really that simple?

Disappointing TMQ. i like your stuff on here and I don't think we've ever had a cross word, but you are being an arse reducing all anti right/UKIP stuff to the racial issue.

I dont hate UKIP, they amuse me with the whacko nutjob stuff they come out with. All you have to do is look on this thread and see who says they will vote for them and it illustrates my point perfectly.

Ah , the envy thing once again pmsl. Your insinuation that no far left party could become as popular as UKIP show you regard UKIP as a party of the far right.

But what you fail to acknowledge is that as Europe becomes more disparate, groupings such as the hard left Syriza in Greece who got 27% of the vote in the last Greek election and are the main opposition party are coming to prominince. Europe is becoming dangerously radicalised and the UK has more of a history of far right influence than far left. Oswald Moseley, Enoch Powell come to mind.

The British left was neutuered by Blair and his centrist followers and the lure of power after so many years of Tory rule proved more powerful than any nod to Socialism.

The silencing tactics used by the whack job loony left is deafening.
When did the Daily Mail and Lord Ashcroft migrate to the loony left?

At the point the Mail becomes to the left, you know you've gone mental.

Internet forum posting is clearly the new smearing your shit on walls before walking into the post office with your nob out shouting something about 'blacks and women' whilst clutching a Top Gear DVD box set.

Some people will choose to dislike them due to the factual racists among them. I'm one of those people. It's not only the racism that puts me off, it's the general sleaze that makes me wary of them.

I find it tragic that people on here voicing an opinion that isn't Tory Party/Israel friendly is currently under attack.

I was pointing out that the party is not a racist party, some of it's members may be but the party is not racist, the analogy with the far left rapists was just that not tit for tat just an explanation

They don't know though. I have every belief that these right-wingers think the criticism of UKIP by the left is driven by fear, but nothing is further from the truth. Splitting the right-wing vote opens the door to the left, as much as the splitting of the left vote in the 80s opened the door to Thatcher. If we criticise UKIP it can only be genuine objection to their racist links.

That's absolutely the case.

You have a point and that's why the mail is on board, what will happen though if their share of the vote goes very high, the Tory party will start moving towards UKIP policies, he has already hinted on a referendum on Europe, he should just offer it, because whatever your opinions on the EU people should be allowed to vote on it
