By the way even Labour admits they got it wrong with the Eastern European immigration, immigration that affected many ordinary working men, because it lowered wages but I suspect your not really that bothered about the ordinary working man like the two decorators I know that are now unemployed because a couple of Polish guys set up, and undercut every local decorator, of course they have no insurance or pay no tax just a van and few pots of paint, but I guess it does not matter

If the Poles are working illegally without insurance and paying no tax why havent your two unemployed friends reported them?

As for your absolute ludicrous remarks that as a Socialist im not bothered about the working man, i just despair. Your right wing nutjobs really do border on the fucking clueless at times. fucking clueless.

Calling people that disagree with your political views as nutjobs is getting rather tedious and boring ...

Do you think Britain can cope with the level of immigration coming to this country.
These statistics are the latest from BBC

In Romania there are around 15.3million people of working age, meaning that the 1 per cent considering moving to the UK equates to around 153,000 people.
In Bulgaria there are around 4.67million people of working age, meaning that according to the BBC statistics, more than 196,000 could be considering moving to the UK to find a job.

Are you honestly happy for this country to allow this to go on ? When our young can not get on the housing ladder, NHS is under strain and benefits are being cut .

Are you aware that every survey ever commissioned comes to the conclusion that immigration produces a net gain for the british economy, rather than being a drain upon it, Mark?
I just thought I'd make that salient point, before this thread joins the 'Drones' one in being pulled, as that seems to be the fate of any thread nowadays where dissent is expressed, or a moderator is questioned.
There was a time once when debate was possible.
Now it seems that some folk are hell bent on stopping it when they are losing the argument, which really is sad.

But you are nutjobs, thats a fact tedious or not.

Why arnt the Romanians worried about the 2.7 million unemployed UK citizens who may take there jobs?

If you want the benefits of the free markets you have to give the benefits to others. What i dont get from the laissez faire right is why they against the freedoms they espouse to support.

So basically your happy for millions and millions of immigrants to come to this country - Even if it meant housing, our NHS and young people unable to find jobs it doesn't concern you one bit. I'm not against immigration one bit and don't have one racist bone in my body but surely there comes a time where enough is enough.

Where on earth do you get the million and millions figure from of Immigrants coming here ?

It's my own question. I'm wondering if Rascal would have no issue with immigration no matter what the number, even if it was proved that immigration is effecting our housing, jobs etc I'm just curious if he would EVER be concerned about this or would he call us all nut jobs regardless.

SEVEN KEY FACTS
Net migration quintupled from 50,000 in 1997 to 250,000 in 2010. Over 3 million immigrants have arrived since 1997. Net migration fell to 163,000 in the year to June 2012 as government policies took effect.

A migrant arrives almost every minute but they leave at only just over half that rate.

More people have now migrated to the UK in a single year (2010) than did so in the entire period from 1066 to 1950, excluding wartime.

We must build a new home every seven minutes for new migrants.

England is already, with the Netherlands, the most crowded country in Europe, excluding island and city states.

The population of the UK will grow by over 7 million to 70 million in the next 15 years, 5 million due to immigration - that is the equivalent of the current populations of Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Sheffield, Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and Oxford.

To save Rascal of replying to this, here's what he would say.

Hence why we need to get out of the EU

Mark, I posted a pretty detailed response on your immigration thread a week or so back. It was pretty much ignored, including by yourself.

If you degree with that post, its a discussion we can have, but buying into emotional rhetoric so whole heartedly blinds opinions.

As for the ukip. My feelings on it are that they are revelling in their protest vote image. Farrage et al are charlatans, albeit relatively media savvy charlatans. He knows if he says something confidently and assuredly, people will assume its correct. His appearance on question time, and the idiot on five live, no different
