To be fair, this thread was initially about farrage associating with racists, people on the bnp and edl roster, and holocaust deniers. The thread was initially about race, and immigration was brought up later. Actually by people saying their stance on immigration doesn't make them racist.
But I agree that in any debate mindlessly insulting others doesn't help with conversation, but its not what has happened here
