UKIP- it didnt take long did it

UKIP a party for folk who haven't got the bollocks to stand as BNP candidates or supporters, they are a fad that will disappear very quickly.

That's a good point, if you meet the party members close up, as I have done, you soon realise they are a collection of fruit loops, closet racists, little Englanders, they also seem to be permanently angry, a tad stupid and socially inept.

I'm fully aware of what's up with them having battled against racism for many years and mixed with them to get close up, that goes for NF and BNP also, same old shit just a different name.

They have been around for 20 years now and I think as long as Europe stays a basket case they will be about and people will vote. They will never get anywhere but I dont think they will be going away

You may not like them Rascal but UKIP will storm the European elections next year and this will throw the main parties into disarray. It will force a referendum, and we'll be out of Europe.

Much as you might hate Farage and attack his party with smear campaigns, the guy's argument is compelling.

In todays current economic climate his argument is very compelling. Farage is much more switched on than people give him credit for and he uses that to his own distinct advantage.

You are right - he will storm the European elections and that will form his base and he will build from there. UKIP will start to receive more funding which will translate into more support and momentum will build. The clowns (like the Tories and a few posters on here) who can only resort to calling him a 'Racist' or 'Homophobic' completely miss the big picture and play directly into his hands.

If people would actually take the time to read UKIP's manifesto and policies they will see that they are not just a bunch of 'nutjobs'.

All political parties are only as good as the opposition they have hence the car crashes of Labour and the Tories we have now in this country.

The Lib Dem's sold out wholesale to take a seat at the top table and a gap in the political landscape was the result. UKIP have very quickly started to fill that gap.
I'm looking forward to the build up for the next election as UKIP could have a major influence on who is the next Prime Minister in 10 Downing Street.

Some need to distinguish the difference between a xenophobe a racist and those just sick of the political animal that Europe has become.

People are increasingly becoming disengaged with mainstream politics and see no alternatives or difference between the main parties, especially on Europe.

Decrying anyone who wants out of Europe as a racist is lazy and if you think it will make those people go away, forget it.

No looney lefties....no right wing nut jobs....just a change needed in the political landscape that offers nothing to the voter these days other than the same old.

They're a strange and scary bunch the UKIP lot. It is agreed that they are all racist closet or just outright and proud of it. But they are the emperor's new clothes right and as the mask begins to slip the real UKIP is being revealed. It won't be long before Farage himself blows his own cover he's already started this when provoked in Edinburgh. My feelings is if a group of lets say for arguments sake muslims start pull the same stunt as the jocks did on him up North I can well see and outburst of racist remarks.

100% correct and UKIP offer people the alternative choice. The two main political parties in this country are as bad as each other - both completely useless. They are to balme for the rise of UKIP nobody else. However: You reap what you sow...

I read it a while back, unless it's drastically changed it was essentially 'Don't let the gay, muslim europeans put up a wind farm in your garden, vote UKIP!' however well dressed up it was.
