Set of looneys attracting the popular vote like the 'national socialists' did in Germany during economic sad times or do they have a point? Always been a centre or left of centre voter myself, and regarded this lot as bonkers as soon as Kilroy-Silk got involved, but I see a lot of sense in their policies.

As far as i understand all they want is less immigration due to the health services , dole money etc bieng to stretched.

They are not twats at all, just very very conservative...err ok twats then :p

I don't mind their policies, i lost all faith in the government and the uk political structure a long time ago though.

I should read up on them more because i'm sick to my back teeth of labour and conservative crap that is never ending.
You never know they may even listen to the voter.

That's sort of what I was wondering - are they a credible alternative to the cunts in the two/threee main parties, or are they just a socially acceptable 'diet'-BNP for pretend liberals (like me).

The thing is, I emigrated to the US last year. During the process of doing so, I knew fully that I was unable to claim benefits and free health services.
That's all the UK needs to do. Allow immigration under the basis that you are on your own until you get yourself sorted and have contributed into the system.
Why none of the UK political parties go for that is beyond me.
Representation with taxation ;)

That's exactly what I've had to do here. I'm working for the Yankee dollar but not taking fuck all out of the system

An interesting question Helmet bud, i'm going to do some reading on them now.

Hopefully they don't mess up reasonable policies with some daft one at the end like "all yorkshire men must be shot dead" hehe.

Oh i'm liking this, they are seemingly very very pro small business.

I'll be honest this makes good reading <a class="postlink" href="http://www.ukip.org/content/ukip-policies?p=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ukip.org/content/ukip-policies?p=2</a>

They seem only to want to protect what we still have left resource wise.
That can't be a bad ideal.

"We believe victims’ rights are more important than the rights and comfort of criminals"

They are saying all the right things anyway.<br /><br />-- Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:16 am --<br /><br />

That's the one. Many members have switched from one to the other. I've read before an analysis of the amount of seats in which both parties do not simultaneously run candidates cannot just be a coincidence, such is the strength of the statistical anomaly. It is suggestive of an electoral pact. The two parties do not compete very often and appear to get out of one another's way as far as possible.

Top it all off with a nice picture of Mark Deavin and Tony Lecomber (who has a string of very serious criminal offences) with Nigel Farage:

FARAGE,+Nigel+37+DEAVIN,+Mark+-+LeCOMBER,+Tony.jpg

I understand why people think UKIP seem reasonable and I understand why Euroscepticism is popular, but dig a little deeper, and you see some disturbing warning signs.
