Monster Raving Loony Party

monster raving loonyStarted in 1963 by pop star Screaming Lord Sutch, the Monster Raving Loony Party have become a tradition in British politics, standing for fun and aiming to make elections more colourful and humourous.
What they stand for

Many policies seem quirky and fun, although some, such as all-day pub opening, have become law. Currently, they are campaigning for outside air conditioning to combat climate change, removing the wheels from wheelie bins and replacing school vaccinations with injections via tranquilizer rifle.
Leader

Alan “Howling Laud” Hope
The leader of the party since Lord Sutch's death in 1999, Hope was jointly elected as leader with his cat, "Cat Mandu", but has been sole leader since 2002 owing to Cat Mandu's death in a road accident.

They deserve at least 1MP for the effort.

Would they give us our voice and power back aka accountability and transparency?
If so they get my vote.

Always vote MRLP if poss, though here in The Peoples Democratic Republic of Tameside it's often difficult to tell them from Labour

I bet there are at least as many people with racial prejudice in the cons as there is in UKIP.

If they keep that out of policy and really aim to help the country then i can't see the issue.

If they give me my referendum and don't fudge it and basically tell people "no vote this way" then i will vote for them defo.
My main gripe is i have no voice i feel and it angers me more than almost anything else.
These ***** are here to speak for us not TO us.

They are all bent twats so why not give this lot their chance to dig in.
Basically Labour have no identity and are wishy washy and the cons seem inept at best dealing with the banking issue and only seem to be widening the gap between rich and poor.
Both have shown distinct disdain for the people of this country

The traditional three main parties are making it damned hard for the disillusioned masses not to look at alternative choices.

fair post.

There are certainly some seedy far right elements / associations within UKIP just as there used to be a few communists within Labour before they sold out. Personally I'd much rather put up with a few right wing nutjobs than see UKIP become another center-right party like the cons, libs, and Labs, Even if they are not ever elected, it's good to have some sort of political contrast in the UK rather than the monochrome of the 'big three'.

If you look on their web-page at their manifesto and statements on issues almost all of their concerns are to obviously do with the E.U. and immigrants. So if you're the type to hate those dastardly foreigners and imagunts then it's the party for you.

Oh and they want to decrease the size of the NHS and make people start paying for certain treatments. Before any disagrees with this, it's on their webpage including a press release by their esteemed politician Neil Hamilton saying the NHS is more dangerous than the Taliban.
He said its a more effective killing machine. Cant make up facts. Still a **** though

I was summing up the article, in any case is there there a difference?

They still want to change the NHS and the UKIP MEP Daniel Hannan has previously said he want's to disband it.

Quite agree I even miss a real left wing party politics has become so bland and provides us with little choice

No probs. You know what, it's quite nice to be accused of being nasty. Usually we're accused of doing good, which is horribly condescending.

I just thought it was a little odd that the comrades had not mentioned the recent alleged slavery case it seems it touches a raw nerve
