A year from now there will be threads on here asking whatever happened to..

and top of the list will be Farage and Clarkson.
We can but hope!

A bit like the Thatcher thread with all the soap dodgers lining up for a textual internal examination?

Not read today's entire posting on this thread regarding the incident. So forgive me if someone has already highlighted this comparison but strange how a few rowdys spoil Nigels pub lunch (and I'm not justifying it btw, even fascist wannabe's are entitled to family time) and it's front page news, all over the radio this morning and on the TV news bulletin (what's that old line about no publicity is bad publicity)

Compare that to a few months ago where a domesticly elected representative of 30 years plus standing is assaulted and hospitalized on the street by a religious extremist 40 years plus his junior and the incident makes hardly a murmur in the press, the political elite don't condemn it (despite the implications for themselves if assaulting members of parliament for their beliefs has been given the green light.

The comparison is stark obviously. In the world of warped media coverage Farage having his dinner ruined is more newsworthy of GBH on an old man. Obviously the push to the right is good and George Galloway's defending of the little guy is seen as bad. strange though all the same!

That's out of order. Whatever you think about the bloke and/or his party and their policies, there's no justification for having a go at him when he's out with his family. And just because he was in a public place, that doesn't give the mob carte blanche to do what they did.

Classless Labour scum. Typical leftist morons, they don't like something they become un civil.

With ignorant comments like that you sound just as bigoted as Nigel, are you sure they weren't just all immigrants?

They were actually Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender.

From the reports I've seen was pretty much a peaceful protest pretty tongue in cheek with people in fancy dress. It was more to do with Nigel petulant reaction charging out like a bull with a slapped arse.

Calling people filth and scum that's really classy isn't it Foxy?
Only you could defend the indefensible and blame the victim.

Are those people exempt from being classed as scum for any reason in particular?

Perhaps that's why Nigel called them filth because he doesn't approve of them.

Or perhaps not and you're just making shite up.

They deserved his rebuke.
Man goes out with family for a bit of tea and gets set upon by a group of losers who need a wash.

You’d have thought a man of Nigel’s calibre would have just took it in his stride and laughed it off, evidently not he was charging around like a bull in a china shop. But good old Nige he gives it the large when he’s asking for discrimination laws to be scrapped but can’t handle a bunch of protesters in fancy dress. In my book you live the sword you die by the sword.

Jesus Christ, HIS KIDS WERE WITH HIM. Do you not fucking get that you fucknut? A 15 year old and a 10 year old out with their Mum & Dad for a meal.

If this had happened to any left-leaning politician you'd have been all over this you hypocrite.
+1

Though you misspelled 'hypercunt'

Was he really the victim in all this?

I'd said it was pretty much win win all round.

The protesters got all the publicity they could have hoped for.

Nigel got a bit of welcome sympathy from the press.

Even the pub got a name check all over the national media.

Everybody's happy.

Are we believing this rag bob protest was organised with such professional undercover precision that Nigel's security had no idea it was coming?

Or if his real major concern was his terrified children, could he have avoided the whole thing and the story would have been, a few weirdos turn up at Nigels local but he wasn't there?

I'm not with you - are you saying his children should remain indoors for their own safety?

I don't give a flying fuck what Farage or his children get up to.

I am saying, I'd be amazed if either well in advance or at least before they turned up, Farage wouldn't have know these crackpots were on the way.

It takes a sad bastard to stalk a politician and his family, turn up to their lunch dressed like a twat and taunt them.
I would have turned the pubs fire hoses on them and threw soap, that would soon shift the scruffy fuckers, fancy dress or not, bet they'v not changed their trollies in Weeks
