From the reports I've seen was pretty much a peaceful protest pretty tongue in cheek with people in fancy dress. It was more to do with Nigel petulant reaction charging out like a bull with a slapped arse.

You can't believe that the BBC is sympathetic to a lefty, politically correct cause?

Where have you been for the last 30 years?

The BBC finds it difficult to use the word 'terrorist' when everyone else does, and tries hard to avoid it.

So it's hardly surprising it goes easy on some white, middle class home counties protestors who many BBC staff probably know from their days at the same public schools.

Some news just in from Folkestone and Hythe, where ex-UKIP candidate Janice Atkinson was expelled from the party earlier. Her replacement has been confirmed as Labour's former National Executive Committee chair Harriet Yeo.
