I think it's City that got me out of international football. Italia90, euro 96 during these tournaments I was fanatical supporting in ger land, but back then I genuinely believed that I would live my entire life not seeing City win a trophy of any kind and England was my only hope. Now, I'm more gutted Belgium got knocked out as I had them in the sweep at work, if it had ended up an England / Belgium final I'd have wanted a Belgium win

It's why you see a lot of fans of England with Chesterfield banners etc..

I have seen about 20 tournaments but eventually the ineptness of the FA in picking managers knocked the stuffing out of me. Those embarrassing performances take their toll. My lad is giddy as fuck.

Claim down lad, he won't though like I didn't. I probably want us to win just for him. Me personally would prefer Italy.

Pig ginger "retired" from England because Sven continually played him on the left, rather than centrally. It was a strange decision, when you consider he only had such shit players as Frank and Slippy G. to play there.

lots of city fans follow England as well. I’d guarantee Manchester will be rammed if England make the final. Like nothing we’ve ever seen before. With city and United fans cheering on England.

sounds like your more annoyed and fed up with England because of events from 15/20/30 years ago. They just aren’t relevant now. Most of the things that made England so unlikeable just don’t apply to this side.

Rashford hasn't really done much, but Maguire and Shaw have been excellent in this tournament.

And speaking of other players I hate, England look much better when Jordan Henderson plays too. No-one else in midfield has that passing range, particularly the long-range ones that can pick out the likes of Sterling and Sancho.
