Tedious team putting in a tedious performance shock.
I suppose it's like let's say he is our manager, [and we never had Pep] and he achieves semi finals etc would we not be saying I wonder how much more this team could achieve with a manager like Pep...or just someone slightly less of a predictable bore like SouthgateFootball has no guarantees however good the players are , look at Italy and Germanys results tonight.
Also many posts slating so many of our players yet somehow Southgate manages to get them to QF, Semi and a Final in major tournaments.
Southgate also has one of Englands highest win% … could we be better with a different manager ? Maybe, who knows.
But unless the different manager wins a major trophy he will get the same abuse and vitriol aimed at him for squad selections, formations, subs etc.
he'l be off to the bowels of the champioship, strange how the England job attracts such fookwits another was Maclaren a complete failure, a joke may i add with his language skills, its the kind of men the FA want which is why i didnt even raise an eybrow when Pep got metioned could you imagine the damage to his CV if he took that jobWhat top job does waistcoat get when he leaves England.
Im not sure many championship clubs would give him a gig.

Mediocrity appears to be the benchmark for some. The choice of Henderson next to Rice, in the middle, pretty much says it all.Tedious team putting in a tedious performance shock.
The team achieved those “successes” despite Southgate, he maybe is a good organiser / administrator but his football is limited he hasn’t got the technical ability required to win things that’s why he is responsible for a relegation at both club and international level. He says one thing and then does the opposite, has his favourites which he said he wouldn’t Can’t recognise that Phil Foden has more talent in his toenail that Henderson has in his body. He has a pool of talent that goes on the pitch unprepared and rudderless he really is wasting this generation with his dull boring football. In the euro final swap mangers and England win Bobby Manc ran rings around him that day He’s a FA yes man nothing more. You and his other acolytes can’t see it and to quote his record as though it’s something wonderful is laughable, the man is a con artist and the reason he gets criticised is because most people can see he is under achieving with the squad he has. Capelo once said a bad manager makes a team 60% worse a good one makes it 10% better, most of us can see which one Gareth isFootball has no guarantees however good the players are , look at Italy and Germanys results tonight.

Obviously allowed that view but can you find any match report that backs that up ?
Personally though we played really well and second half of that match dominated with Kane missing that penalty - also had way more possession than them, 16 shots to their 8 and a couple big decisions went against us.
