ULEZ Letter

Is your view of this reflected in statements made by senior Tories ?

No idea mate, I don’t pour over their musings - but given they don’t instinctively gravitate towards green policy (if we can call ULEZ that) - then they’d probably not be that enamoured with it even if only in private.

In politics absence of criticism isn’t a blessing, nowadays it’s a business for opportunists who have plenty of neck.

Exempt if you are going to religious prayer group apparently
Best start going to church again :)

Ok so the letter doing the rounds pointing to it being all the governments idea/forcing Khan to do it was utter horseshit but because you can’t bring yourself to accept that this is the Labour’s mayors policy and somehow think the tories must be behind it - because it suits your cultist agenda (and yes you follow Labour around like a cult as you’d vote for a pig if it had a red rosette as proven by your door knocking for Corybn and your door knocking for Starmer - chalk and cheese springs to mind). Anyhow I digress - you’ve decided to move the goal posts and cite he (Snapps’) didn’t formally oppose it in a formal settlement letter - quite a stretch when it’s clear Khan as mayor of London has the powers to implement it.

But well done for trying.
A bit of a rant. I hadn't said any of that about the expanded ULEZ (beyond the N/S Circs).

The fact remains that until Uxbridge, the government had not really tried to stop the expanded ULEZ (to the outer boroughs). That letter from Shapps didn't even say, "Do you think that's wise?" or "That's a very courageous plan, Mayor Khan", just "you're on your own".

Doubt it to be true tbh
Just saw it on twitter ( X)

I’d say bollocks though

two points - first its a mock up - no identifying the the publication nor the journalist behind it and two despite what the racist prick posting it would have you think not all Muslims are black or brown skinned and not all those with black or brown skins are Muslim - however nothing is stopping anyone getting an enforcement letter simply replying they were on their way to the mosque so can't be fined.

Oh and a third issue - it doesn't comply with equality laws
