Seems the controversy is about Khan’s motives for asking experts to provide more information following a report questioning the effectiveness of ULEZ in its early days. Seems there’s a difference of opinion depending on which article is read.
Don't forget this is coming from the Tories who said we'd had enough of experts.
Popular press misunderstanding scientific research is nothing new either.
And two departments at Imperial had differing views on Covid research.
The only real questions are what the research said and if and how it was misleading.
I think this is the original report that the Mayor thought was misleading.

It’s £12.50 a day to drive about. So if someone is driving to work mon to Fri they’re going to get bummed to the tune of £250 a month?
How are folk supposed to afford that?

Yep if you have a non complaint car but you can get £2k if you are on benefits to get a new car, which will probably cost you at least £250 a month so what do you think will happen, Ker Fucking Ching Khan.
