I see what you are saying but it should also be remembered that nothing accentuates a thinning head of hair than the remaining hair being wet and plastered to the head.

I think it depends on the situation, I wouldn't use one to the football, but I've coats that do the same job, if I'm going to work (long walk from car park) and its not freezing, then I'd rather wear a smart coat and use a brolly.

Choice, its good to have, never rule a choice out, just choose right.
