I think it depends on the situation, I wouldn't use one to the football, but I've coats that do the same job, if I'm going to work (long walk from car park) and its not freezing, then I'd rather wear a smart coat and use a brolly.

Choice, its good to have, never rule a choice out, just choose right.

Why would you want to get wet and cold when you could stay dry?
Umbrellas are perfectly acceptable for men.

Concierge gave me one the other day as i was going out for a cig at the radisson on peter street.
No chance i was using that in the wind that was blowing. That is the issue, more often than not there is enough wind to fuck it up.

Beyond that jeeves holds mine so fuck it.
