Unacceptable song

I'm officially revising some from the past.

'You're going to get your fucking head kicked in.' is now 'You may possibly be involved in mild scuffles on your way home, but the chance of your skull being literally caved in is statistically remote.'

'The ref's a fucking bastard' is now 'The referee's birth certificate needs to be carefully scrutinised.'

Don't like this song. Reminds of England cricket fans at OT singing "10 men went to bed, went to bed with Shane Warne......" After a quiet word from the stewards it became 100 men..... and went on and on and on

Ignore it. It will go away- eventually

I've just read through most of this drivel and now have confirmation why our atmosphere is so bad. BTW for those who were there on Wednesday I was the one trying to get this new song going. To the tune of "who's that coming over the hill is it a monster" - "who's that coming over your kids, its Bobby Charlton, its Bobby Charlton". I accept that some might consider this offensive but to be quite frank I don't give a rats ass.
Lambast me all you want, ban me from the forum if that makes you feel better, but I go to the match to enjoy myself and I am not going to stop just in case someone gets upset. Football is my release from the everyday constraints of modern life where you are frightened to do or say anything for fear of upsetting someone. Within the confines of the ground, pub or the minibus I don't really care if my actions or words upset you - get over yourself and get on with it OR stay at home.

"Who's that coming over your kids its Bobby Charlton, its Bobby Charlton" - catchy don't you think?

I have`nt heard this song yet and do`nt really want to, this applies to home or away fans, if you are black asian etc and hear racist chanting how would you feel ? not great I would think !!! If your homosexual and hear derogatory chanting how would feel ?? if your a victim of horrendous abuse (peadophillia) how would you feel hearing those chants........... you would`nt want to hear it, even though its supposedly taking a pot shot at the instigators of such crimes..no one wants to be reminded of bad things, especially those types of bad things

...but... but... it's a release and it adds to the atmosphere. We haven't got many alternatives!

aaaaaaaaahh sorry thats ok then .... carry on. Even in the seventies and eighties I wondered why people sang the Munich songs, and blindly I joined in without realising so I guess the same thing is happening, but when I understood what the Munich songs were about I never joined in, and believe me i passionately hate the evil red empire and have been in many scrapes home and in stretford with these low lifes :))

You don't have to make up songs about child abuse to enjoy yourself though, do you? Oh wait........

Out of all our "someone at utd is a paedo" songs this is my least favourite.

Crap tune
Crap words
Not funny
Don't think it has much factual basis
It's not big or clever
Surely someone can come up with something better
Alternatively if people don't join in it will die a death of it's own accord
