I would be certain though that what we take for granted would be very scary for them. I'd possibly guess that they thought that plane was a bird. But who knows.
It was surreal to see their reactions and the way they watched it fly past. I have no doubt that trying to contact them would be dangerous too. Not just because of disease.
I remember seeing something about an island in the Indian ocean with an un-contacted tribe. When two fishermen got drunk their boat drifted to the island where the natives killed them. Amazing still with all the globalisation that these people still survive. Truly amazing.

I was reading about them, The Sentinelese Tribe. Here's some interesting information on them.
"Attempts to leave them material goods from the late 1960s have resulted in household ware and metal objects being utilized, coconuts being eaten but not planted, pigs are not eaten but shot and buried, as was a doll. Red buckets were taken with apparent delight, while green ones were rejected."
So, they like red and they don't eat pigs, they kill them and give them a proper burial
