Underwhelming purchases

A grub stop at the "OK" diner (American style) on the A1. I'd often driven past and fancied stopping so took the plunge a few weeks back. I figured they were being a little self-depreciating by calling themselves the OK diner and I was looking forward to some American favourites. Fuck me was I wrong, "OK" was an ambition for that place that they are in no danger of exceeding anytime in my life, the shit they served up under the label of "food" was a fucking abomination, expecting a mouthly orgasm as I bit into some tasty pancakes instead it tasted as if the "chef" had tugged one out over them the week before.

So yeah that was a pretty underwhelming purchase.

doing some touristy style activity abroad then deciding you need to buy photos/videos/memorabilia then getting home and realising no one cares that you swam with dolphins except yourself as you watch the £30 video in your £15 t-shirt and cry yourself to sleep.

But you cry yourself to sleep every night...what have dolphins to do with it?
sometimes words hurt! *sobs

As soon as i get my monthly salary i make alot of underwhelming purchases, too many to mention. Seeing as this is a thread for it il name a couple from this month.

£100 on a chameleon - died within a week
£150 for the tank, lights ect (its a nice tank) but still very underwhelming

Thats just this month, i wonder what underwhelming purchases next month will bring. I hope none but there is always something.

The one in Peterborough? Haha I once stayed there for a week mate. I rented a room behind it and the only toilet was communal and had been smashed by a drunken trucker a few days before with a sledgehammer.
So if I needed a piss at night I'd have to do it by the A1.

Upstairs was a gay French couple who fought constantly into the early hours and the place was a complete dump.

No mate, the one before you get to Newark, but I know the one you're on about, just south of the a1 adult store if I remember well. The a1 truely is the devils work.
