Wow, good tec work Eddie, but there are jobs out there, there simply is work. Look at the work around trafford park, in factories n that, and thats just one place, so yes, there is work out there.

Also I don't doubt there are some jobs going in Trafford Park but I work for a parcel company that specialises in business to business freight and I can tell you manufacturing is on its arse at the moment and most of our customers are making people redundant.

If you read the whole thread, I have allready said that i particularly offered these a hand because i thought they could've been on their jollies, and if superman leaves they would've been gutted. Of course there is work out there. It's the amount of applicants for each one that is the problem.

Recent surveys have shown that warehouse work, in particular, is so over subscribed that the days of "I'll just get a labouring job in the meantime to make ends meet" are so long gone that to think otherwise is naive. "General labouring" (warehouses,factories etc etc) is probably the hardest hit job market and has been for some time, even before the downturn in the economy.
