Just looked on bbc text sport section on tv and in it it says that Barcelona had an agreement with juventus to have first option to sign Carlton pogba but decided not to take it up.
Seems the rags weren't exactly Carlton's first choice despite all he says.
If Barcelona had said we want him then rags would have missed out on him or would they have been SNUBBED lol

No double standards from the Sun:

Do the Press build them up to knock them down? The Sun writes about Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford who “proves he’s a top guy after buying his mum £800,000 home”.

The story continues:

“Manchester United’s latest hero Marcus Rashford has moved his mum and two brothers to a luxury £800,000 house in the leafy Wythenshawe suburb of the city. The English striker, 18, grew up in that area of Manchester and was quick to give his mum a more comfortable pad after bursting onto the scene last year and earning himself a bumper pay day of £25,000-a-week.”

Buying your mum a big house is lovely. But he’d better not get too rich or fail to score for England.

When Raheem Sterling showed everyone the house he’d bought for his mother, the Manchester City player was castigated by the Sun. The front-page headline screamed “Obscene Raheem”, noting “England failure steps off plane and insults fans by showing off blinging house”. A source opined: “Any normal person would hang their heads in shame after how they performed in France but these guys come home and show off about how rich they are.”

A “friend of Sterling” told MEN:

“Raheem and his family are really upset that the fact he’s bought a nice house for his mum is being used to hammer him by the media and make him the scapegoat for England’s failure… He bought her the house as a thank you for all her support and help. Now to have his mum’s private life and house being mocked and thrown into the public spotlight has left him furious and frustrated.”

Enjoy it while it lasts, Marcus, you hero.

Not sure which I find more hilarious, their claim Wythenshawe is "a leafy suburb" or the fact they think there's an £800,000 house there, you could probably buy Benchill for that.

Lost count of the amount of snubs this year....

N’Golo Kante has revealed Jose Mourinho attempted to lure him to Manchester United this summer prior to his move to Chelsea.

The France midfielder received a personal phone call from the United boss just weeks after helping Leicester claim their first Premier League title.

But despite holding discussions with Mourinho, Kante decided against a move to United and completed a £32m switch to Chelsea

When we were linked with Pogba, we'd established quite early on that Pogba would not be classed as homegrown due to him missing the specified amount of time by a couple of months. Fair enough.

Even when United were close to signing him it was brought up again - he wasn't eligible:

Amid Manchester United's interest in Paul Pogba, one of the most asked questions relating to the France international this summer is whether he would count as a home-grown player.

The answer is no. The Premier League ruling on the home-grown quota states:

"A home-grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the Season during which he turns 21)."

Yet today we see he is classed as homegrown:

New signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba are also in the squad while the Premier League have confirmed Pogba counts as a 'homegrown' player.

So what has changed?

What's changed is he signed for the rags so new rules apply....they bend over backwards for the rag cunts.

Found this on another forum, think fellow blues will enjoy reading this

http://therepublikofmancunia.com/stats-more-reasons-to-keep-jose-mourinho-away-from-united/

I tried to read it but the vomit that came up in my mouth when reaching this part made it impossible to continue.

There is then Mourinho’s inability to bring through youth, a tradition Manchester United prides itself upon. From the ‘Busby Babes’ to the ‘Fergie Fledglings’,

What a bunch of absolute twats.

Plastic Confidence is building

After 2.5 years of barely 1 rag top visible on visits to the gym, I saw 2 yesterday.
that one was jizzjazz was funny.

(General comment: I really Dont get why any fans have other people 's names on themselves, it's bad enough with the adverts/logos being on there by default, why pay more to become further sheeplike?)

No doubt , a week Monday, if city lose, it'll be wall to wall plastics with 'beckham', 'ronaldo', 'giggs' in full attendance.
