Take it as a compliment that ikkle Citeh have made them go shit or bust. This time when it goes tits up they won't come running to us to bail them out.

Honestly, the egos of that bunch could implode the world. Shrek, Zlatan (Third Person) and The Chosen One?! Theres a training room I sure as hell don't want to be a part of. I'm sure the media hacks will be playing us off each other all season but we won't be getting all the negative press.
Don't forget Depay.

I'm afraid that I see them as being very strong this season, they've improved significantly in every department.
Not at the back they haven't, for one thing it's 50-50 whether Shaw will reach his previous level after such a bad injury. And then there's Bailly, I watched him in the last ACON and his mistakes were repeatedly being recovered by Aurier and Kolo Toure, unless he's improved dramatically in 30-odd La Liga appearances he's a risk not a nailed-on improvement. Throw in the Smalling who stood and watched an Icelandic journeyman score and Darmian who couldn't make the Italy starting line-up and their defence does not look especially watertight to me.

I'll concede that point but the keeper is a freak, could really of done with Real Madrid signing him, he's worth a lot of points to them. Shaw is young and if his recuperation has been handled well, you'd expect him to come back a strong player.
However, Thursday nights and big fat Wayne could cause issues, let's hope so!

Doesn't change the fact De Gea unbelievably good and probably even better than Schmeichel was for them. Gutted Madrid come back in for him

Of course they will, anyone thinking otherwise were just fooling themselves.
These c*nts were never going to just go away.
On what basis? I don't get this idea that the rags will automatically be title challengers next season. Obviously you could argue that they finished level on points with us, so if we are, they must be too. But that ignores the fact that we still basically have a core of players at the right age who have already won it. There are many reasons to believe that we massively underachieved last season, yet I can't think of any reasons why the rags didn't finish exactly where you'd expect them to given the squad they have. For the same reason, I think Chelsea are actually bigger title challengers, despite having a horrible season last year.

You could point to the Mourinho factor, but Mourinho doesn't have a record of taking clubs that finished 5th and turning them into champions over night. With both Chelsea and Real Madrid, he won the league in his second season. With the rest, he took over a team that was either already champions, or basically on the cusp of it. I'd be more worried about them next season rather than this year. It's also worth mentioning that Mourinho doesn't really address their problems. Van Gaal had them very well organised, their problem was creating chances and scoring goals. This is especially going to be an issue now that the likes of Leicester, Atletico Madrid and Portugal have basically showcased the virtues of defensive football, meaning we might be seeing a lot more of it in the PL next season.

Obviously they're bringing in players, but then so is everyone else. And they need a much bigger overhaul than anyone else.

As far as I can tell, the only reason to consider them realistic title challengers is "If Leicester could do it..."

We'll buy your club, and burn it down.
Lol
Shit , meant to quote someone then

You're not seriously arguing that Hart is in the same league as De Gea, are you?
It's like on of their lot comparing Mata to Silva or Carrick to Toure!
